Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement community events to build strong relationships with key stakeholders including individuals, community leaders and organisations
- Support the department to deliver the company’s vision and business policies within the local community
- Work closely with community leaders and government departments on major projects that provide reliable electricity supply and make positive contribution to the community
- Establish internal liaison networks to enable effective communication and coordination in our day-to-day operation
- Take the lead to handle local supply issues, maintain a proactive dialogue with relevant stakeholders, respond to inquiries from community members?swiftly, and provide onsite caring support, if needed
- Represent the company to attend meetings to listen to stakeholders’ views, cater for and satisfy their needs
- Support to formulate engagement plans for responsible districts
Requirements:
- A recognized university degree; preferably in Social Sciences, Engineering, Journalism or Communications disciplines
- At least 5 years of experience in community relations / engineering / account management or related disciplines
- Solid knowledge and experience in community relations and stakeholder engagement.
- Good team player
- Outstanding presentation, communication, interpersonal skills with strong professional commitment
- Strong analytic, planning, organisation and problem-solving skills, and ability to perform multi-tasking
- Capability in implementation of community events or programmes
- Self-motivated, able to work under pressure at irregular hours and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent language command in both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as lower position
