We’re excited to announce the opening of our new farm café at Goddenwick Farm this Easter, nestled in the stunning Sussex countryside.
We believe that great food starts with great people and we’re on the hunt for passionate foodies to join our team as a ‘food creator’ to help bring our food vision to life.
We’re offering both full-time and part-time positions, so whether you’re looking for a 5 day week or a flexible role, we’d love to hear from you.

?Role Overview:
As part of our catering team, you will be responsible for preparing luxury sandwiches, bagels, and other deli-style items, with a keen eye for presentation. Your expertise in food preparation will ensure that every dish served is a visual and culinary delight. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, with an emphasis on quality, creativity, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilites
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble a variety of luxury sandwiches, bagels, and deli-style offerings.
- Make coffees – we can provide barista training
- Ensure all dishes are presented beautifully, in line with our rustic café aesthetic.
- Work collaboratively with the team to bring fresh and creative ideas to the menu.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and taking orders in a friendly and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all food safety standards.
- Help with daily stock management and order supplies as necessary. Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience in food preparation, especially sandwiches and deli items, is desirable however we are also welcome individuals new to the catering industry who are confident in the kitchen and eager to learn.
- A strong eye for presentation and detail, with a passion for creating visually appealing food.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a warm and approachable manner.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
- A creative mindset, eager to contribute ideas to the menu and café offerings.
- A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work as part of a team.
