The role of the Content and Communications function is to establish and strengthen authentic connections with audiences everywhere.

We focus on premium brand stories related to our products and our customers; we manage the corporate reputation and brand equity; and we engage, inspire, and motivate our communities.

The Content and Communications Coordinator will support projects that directly promote Tesla’s vehicle and energy products. This involves helping to execute country-specific plans, coordinating our press fleet operations, pitching loans to relevant reporters and influencers, coordinating car preparations, and handling handovers.

Sharing results with wider teams and ensuring that the business is aware of the value your team delivers is also a fundamental part of the role. You will work closely with sales, delivery, and service teams. You must be solution-oriented, flexible, self-driven, and thrive in a highly agile environment.

You are creative, can think big but start small, and are eager to deliver results. An open mind and a team-player attitude are a must.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify and evaluate opportunities that build brand and product visibility and establish credibility, including social channels.
  • Draft messaging and support media event organization.
  • Identify and elevate potential issues to your manager and seek counsel when needed to avert crises.
  • Work across teams to identify and interview key customers and build newsworthy stories that articulate Tesla’s product messages to the media.
  • Build meaningful relationships with internal teams, including sales, service, and charging, to achieve highly effective and measurable results.
  • Responsible for updating the media database, monitoring and reporting handovers of cars to influencers, and coordinating press fleet logistics.
  • Maintain a photo database and press coverage archives.
  • Travel throughout the country with flexibility to attend events.

  • What You’ll Bring

  • University degree preferred (Communications, Public Relations, Journalism). Fluency in English and the local language is required for this position.
  • 1-3 years in product and/or corporate communications, preferably for a major technology, lifestyle, or automotive company, or acquired on the agency side. Experience with and ability to develop strong relationships with regional media.
  • Demonstrate initiative in managing a wide range of projects with a high degree of independence.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in writing skills to craft external correspondence, press materials, etc.
  • Demonstrate practical and advanced understanding of visual communications, social media, and the digital landscape, and how to incorporate these channels into communication programs.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and very fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail on all projects.
  • Ability to travel (30%). Clean, valid driving license.
