Moovit is looking for a System Administrator to join the IT team. The System Administrator will help manage the organizational IT infrastructure (which is mostly SaaS-based), Network Infrastructure, Servers on the cloud, Managing permissions to systems, meeting rooms, set up permissions, hardening devices, supporting user issues, setting up new users and devices, and performing other IT-related tasks.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the organization’s infrastructure and system architecture, delivering professional, scalable, and high-quality solutions for complex challenges.
- Continuously assess and update existing infrastructure technologies to ensure relevancy and effectiveness, identify areas for improvement to formulate future technology roadmaps.
- Act as a tech support, provide technical support to employees for both simple and complex issues.
- Plan, lead, and implement IT projects, including rollouts and infrastructure upgrades, collaboration with other teams (DevOps, Security), with full project management responsibility.
- Embed security best practices into all infrastructure designs, including principles like Zero Trust, IAM, encryption standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee the network environment, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Be the administrator for Google Workspace and JumpCloud, including the management of the JumpCloud MDM and Applications, and Google Gmail, Calendar, Drive and other Google applications.
- Maintain and manage the IT servers and resources hosted on AWS.
- Configure, install, and maintain office technical equipment, including laptops, printers, monitors, Conference room technology, IT asset management and other peripherals.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as an IT Specialist / System Administrator.
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, and network protocols, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting, for FW, AP, and Switches (Fortinet – advantage).
- Experience in tech support for MacOS and Windows 10, 11 & MS Office.
- Experience working with SaaS IDPs (Okta, JumpCloud).
- Experience with Zero trust solutions (ZTNA) like ZScaler.
- Experience with MDM solutions such as Intune, Jamf, and JumpCloud.
- Experience in PC/laptop imaging, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Google Workspace, Jira, Slack.
- Familiarity with scripting with either Bash or PowerShell
- CCNA & MCSA or equivalent
