We are looking for a meticulous and skilled professional to ensure the accuracy of financial records, manage daily financial transactions, and assist with various administrative responsibilities. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain precise financial records by accurately documenting all daily financial transactions.
- Process employee payroll on a weekly basis.
- Oversee both accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, guaranteeing timely payments and collections.
- Conduct monthly bank account reconciliations to verify accuracy.
- Manage supplier accounts by verifying and posting transactions as well as reconciling accounts when necessary.
- Generate and manage invoices while ensuring accurate billing practices.
- Organize and maintain records through effective document filing and management for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with year-end financial closing activities.
- Ensure that bookkeeping policies and procedures are consistently updated and adhered to.
- Provide support for ongoing construction projects by assisting with documentation and project coordination.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by supervisors to facilitate smooth office operations.
Required Skills
- Previous experience in accounting, finance, or a related field is essential.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
- Capable of prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Appfolio is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with AIA documents is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in interactions with both technical and financial professionals.
Qualifications
- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in accounts payable, expense reports, and financial document management is required.
