Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of project schedules, considering resource allocation, dependencies, and critical paths
- Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and stakeholders to gather project requirements and ensure alignment with scheduling objectives
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and proactively address scheduling conflicts to mitigate risks
- Facilitate regular project scheduling meetings to review timelines, identify bottlenecks, and adjust schedules as needed
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards while scheduling project activities
- Provide regular reports and updates on project schedule performance to senior management and key stakeholders
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of scheduling processes and the implementation of best practices
- Mentor and guide junior scheduling staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in project scheduling
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field
- Advanced certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is highly desirable
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in project scheduling within the Airports industry
- Demonstrated track record of successfully managing complex project schedules and delivering projects on time
- Proven experience in utilizing project management tools and software to optimize scheduling processes
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification
