What we’re looking for:

We are looking for a Paralegal with experience supporting attorneys in legal research, case preparation, and documentation. Experience working in a US law firm is a significant advantage. As a Paralegal, you will provide comprehensive legal support, assisting attorneys in case management, legal research, drafting documents, and ensuring compliance with deadlines. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in US legal procedures.

Responsibilities—what you’ll do:

  • Conduct legal research and compile case law, statutes, and relevant legal precedents.
  • Assist attorneys in case preparation by organizing and analyzing legal documents.
  • Prepare and file legal documents with courts and government agencies.
  • Draft contracts, pleadings, discovery requests, and other legal correspondence.
  • Review and proofread legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain case files and document management systems.
  • Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel to track case progress.
  • Manage deadlines, coordinate schedules, and assist in trial preparation.
  • Ensure all case-related documents are properly recorded and organized in the case management system.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of US legal procedures and law firm operations.
  • Experience using case management software.
  • Proficiency in legal research databases
  • Familiarity with document management tools (e.g., Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).
  • Ability to prepare and file documents using e-filing systems for US courts.
  • Fully fluent in English
  • Ability to work U.S. business hours (Pacific Time, Central Time, or Eastern Time)
