We’re looking for a passionate and driven Business Development Associate to join our team and play a pivotal role in expanding our presence in the sports sector. This is an incredible opportunity for someone who thrives on building relationships, driving sales, and making an impact in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Conduct independent research and leverage industry resources to identify high-quality leads within professional leagues, teams, sports organisations and event organisers.
- Qualification: Engage in comprehensive discovery to understand client needs and qualify leads before passing them to senior sales professionals for closing.
- Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of opportunities for the senior sales team.
- Sales Support: Provide administrative support, including CRM updates, follow-ups, and preparing client-facing materials to enhance the efficiency of sales processes.
- Skill Development: Hone your sales expertise with a clear path to managing the full sales cycle, from discovery to closure, as you grow into a more senior role.
- Market Representation: Attend networking events, live sports matches, and industry conferences to represent Tixr with integrity and enthusiasm.
- Market Research: Conducting comprehensive research to identify emerging markets
What you’ll Bring:
- A genuine passion for sports and a strong understanding of its commercial ecosystem.
- Existing industry connections or experience working with sports rightsholders, clubs, or agencies is preferred.
- The ability to quickly pick up product knowledge and eloquently present the Tixr platform to prospective clients.
- A consultative sales approach, with a focus on understanding client needs and providing solutions.
- Determination, resilience, and a willingness to learn, paired with a proactive and hard-working mindset.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently to balance multiple priorities.
- A personable and genuine nature, with the ability to build relationships both internally and externally.
- A positive attitude, contributing to a collaborative and fun office culture.

The pay range for this role is:
25,000 – 35,000 GBP per year (London, UK)
