What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team and assist in providing full-cycle payroll administration and HR-related tasks. With over 320 store locations and growing, we have been a leader in the mattress industry for 30 years, and we are USA family-owned and operated!
Responsibilities
Payroll:
- Manage full-cycle payroll tasks for Bi-weekly Paybook 2.
- Write and process Change Notices for Paybook 2.
- Format “Paybook 2” for ADP upload.
- Process commission data.
- Ensure timesheets are complete and exceptions are cleared.
- Handle garnishments: open and close.
- Set up and manage direct deposits.
- Process federal and state tax changes.
- Track PTO usage and balances.
- Provide PTO reports to management.
- Provide backup assistance as needed for Paybook 1.
- Upload 401k deferral file.
HR Assistance
- Onboard new hires and ensure I-9 compliance.
- Maintain and update ADP records: names, addresses, titles, transfers, terminations, pay rates, and timekeeping profiles.
- Write and process Change Notices.
- Provide New Hire and Term reports as needed.
- EEO-1 Reporting.
Benefit Support
- Add and track benefit premiums and changes.
- Manage short/long-term disability filings and tracking.
- Upload yearly benefit premiums.
- Report workers compensation incidents.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of payroll experience; ADP experience is a plus.
- Strong computer and software application skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to interact with all levels within the organization.
