Primarily responsibilities include managing customer relationships and taking all necessary steps in accordance with internal policies and procedures to bring loans to a close status. This will include working with clients and vendors and conducting in-house operations from sales to funding. Must adhere to the established turn-around time and productivity goal.
Responsibilities
- Main contact and support between Brokers, Borrowers, and all other internal departments, including Sales, Underwriting, Docs, and Funding, while maintaining high customer service.
- Monitor and manage a large pipeline to ensure timely funding of loans.
- Order and verify third-party services as it pertains to the loan.
- Ensure all deadlines concerning approval letters, Status requests, cancellations, and declinations are met.
- Monitor all incoming documents & verify data.
- Obtain necessary provisions from brokers and clear any provisions before submitting the loan to underwriting.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of mortgage Account Manager or loan processing experience.
- In-depth knowledge of all guidelines.
- Nonqm product knowledge is a huge plus.
- Familiarity with LendingQB/Meridian Link.
- Able to demonstrate a proactive, hardworking, flexible, and able to work under their own initiative but also a team player.
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products.
- Strong customer service and time management skills are a must.
- Highly motivated and determined to succeed in a competitive, time-sensitive industry
- A high degree of attention to detail.
- Demonstrated high organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
