Job Title: Materials Design Engineer

QuesTek Innovations LLC, a pioneer and market leader in Integrated Computational Materials Engineering (ICME), seeks an accomplished, highly motivated and skilled Materials Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Integrated Computational Materials Engineering (ICME) and CALPHAD database assessment, as well as programming skills.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement materials design strategies using ICME principles
  • Conduct CALPHAD database assessments to support materials design efforts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize materials performance
  • Utilize programming skills to develop and implement materials simulations
  • Analyze and interpret materials data to inform design decisions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in materials design and ICME

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. PhD preferred.
  • Expertise in ICME and CALPHAD database assessment
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
