We are formalizing our Global Clients Practice and are looking for a qualified candidate to lead and drive the continued development of our global insurance capabilities. This individual will bring demonstrable experience in this segment and strategic vision in support of growing client needs and new business opportunities within Holmes Murphy. While the initial focus of this role will primarily be in the Property & Casualty area, our expectation is that this role will develop to include international Employee Benefits.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Build and lead our Global Practice, developing and implementing a cohesive strategy across geographies that both provides a clear value proposition and aligns with overall business goals.
  • Drive thought leadership by being proactive with industry trends and emerging technologies in the global insurance space.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, prospective clients, vendors and carrier partners across the global insurance industry
  • Collaborate with sales and service teams to identify new opportunities and drive revenue
  • Produce and deliver essential professional development training to enhance our enterprise-wide knowledge and capabilities

Qualifications

  • Education: College degree preferred with industry specific professional designations
  • Licensing: Active state specific Property & Casualty Insurance agent’s license required.
  • Experience: Prefer 10+ years’ experience in commercial insurance business with significant involvement in the multinational client segment.
  • A leadership mentality.

The salary range for Minnesota residents is $115,000 – $250,000. Compensation is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, education, work experience and industry certifications. In addition to your salary, Holmes Murphy offers a comprehensive total rewards program including annual bonuses, total wellbeing benefits and support for professional development.
