Engineering Technologist

Sklate Pty. Ltd. (trading as Ausgreen Solar Solutions) is a New Energy Tech-approved provider of solar energy solutions, dedicated to helping our clients reduce energy costs and lower their carbon footprint. We are seeking a dynamic and skilled full time Engineering Technologist to support our expanding team and projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to solve technical challenges and support the development of solar energy systems.
• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of solar power systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
• Conduct tests and experiments to ensure the quality, functionality, and efficiency of solar energy solutions.
• Utilize advanced technology and engineering tools for system analysis and project planning.
• Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and technological advancements to ensure innovative solutions and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement designs, troubleshoot technical issues, and drive innovation.
• Provide technical expertise and support throughout the engineering process, from design to installation and beyond.
• Work closely with other industry professionals to ensure project success and integration of the latest technologies.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
• Analyse engineering trends and explore new, innovative solutions to enhance the effectiveness of solar installations.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• Proven experience (1-2 years) in a similar role in the solar energy or engineering sector.
• Strong understanding of solar energy systems, electrical engineering principles, and sustainable energy practices.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with industry standards, safety protocols, and regulations.
• A passion for renewable energy and contributing to sustainability initiatives.

Salary

$70,000 – $80,000 per annum, plus superannuation.
