Your New Company
I am currently partnered with Richemont who are currently recruiting a Logistics Administrator for their Sydney office. Reporting to the Logistics and Trade Manager, the role is responsible for the coordination of daily activities of the Logistics and Supply Chain functions in an accurate and efficient manner.
Your new role
CITES Management
- Manage CITES permit applications and acquittals, ensuring compliance with Australian Wildlife Trade Regulations.
- Verify overseas suppliers’ re-export CITES permits for accuracy and validity.
- Maintain a comprehensive inventory of CITES permits, enabling efficient tracking and reporting.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure proper documentation and timely submission of permit-related requirements.
SAP Transactions
- Process inbound and outbound orders (IDNs/ODNs) in SAP, ensuring data accuracy and system updates.
- Monitor inbound and outbound orders for delays or discrepancies.
- Perform Post Goods Receipt (PGR) and Post Goods Issue (PGI) transactions to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Handle return order processing (RFC1/RTV1), coordinating with relevant teams for resolution.
Inbound Shipments (Import)
- Dispatch shipping advice and Australian invoices for import shipments.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Track shipments and proactively address potential delays or compliance issues.
Outbound Shipments (Export)
- Prepare and process export shipping invoices and documentation.
- Book export shipments in coordination with freight forwarders, ensuring timely dispatch.
- Prepare re-export CITES permits and liaise with wildlife authorities for approvals.
- Maintain accurate records of export activities to support compliance and reporting requirements.
Domestic Deliveries
- Arrange courier services for office, customer service, and boutique deliveries, ensuring adherence to Group guidelines.
- Organise the delivery of POSM (Point of Sale Materials) with third-party logistics service providers.
- Ensure compliance with transportation and handling standards for all domestic deliveries.
Stock Management
- Conduct regular cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and address discrepancies.
- Pick and pack stock for events, photoshoots, and boutique replenishments, ensuring proper handling and packaging.
- Monitor inventory levels and report variances to improve stock control processes.
Projects (Group/Regional/Local)
- SAP key user testing for system and supply chain process enhancements
- Support the Logistics & TC Manager in transport tenders, cost tabulation and analysis
What You’ll Need To Succeed
- Experience: 2-3 years in logistics (warehousing, freight forwarding, and supply chain management) with proficiency in SAP Materials Management (MM).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of delivering clear and effective status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Time Management: Strong ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify supply chain risks and implement solutions proactively.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Capacity to shift directions at short notice and remain composed under pressure.
- Teamwork and Initiative: Collaborative mindset with a proactive attitude, willing to go above and beyond to support team success.
