The International Renewables and Energy Systems Integration (IRESI) Group, is a research centre housed in the School of Business. IRESI’s research focuses on propelling sustainable energy systems into the future by helping individuals, organisations and institutions in the pursuit of a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable energy landscape. We are seeking an excellent candidate to join our team as a research assistant to provide research and support for this vibrant and highly productive academic department.

We are seeking an exceptional candidate to join our team as a Research Assistant. This role combines research and technical expertise, particularly in software development, to support the objectives of the Research Ireland project RENEW. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing innovative digital solutions that advance research outcomes and contribute to the strategic goals of IRESI and Maynooth University.

Salary

Research Assistant Level 2 (2024): €36,796 p.a. (1 point)

Research Assistant Level 1 (2024): €31,962 – €35,856 p.a.(6 points)

Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
