How You’ll Make An Impact
- Estimate product line costing: Interpret scope and build estimates using in-house tools, cost books and experience data and calculate a complete and accurate cost of components and assemblies for projects in Dammam
- Align costing of all involved parties on a project basis and optimize cost position (e.g. by cost review and cost-out meetings)
- Develop, create and monitor model selections of configurations. Update the data and maintain templates with current costs and applicable tools in Dammam
- Work directly with Bid Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management and Manufacturing departments to obtain their feedback for building the estimate and updating existing cost models
- Audit and analyze actual costs with estimated costs to determine if variances exist. Initiate corrective action on any discrepancies and implement lessons learned
- Manage multiple proposal cost estimates concurrently
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Finance/Accounting, additional Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, ideally in the Bid Management / Operations area of the Rotating Equipment Industry; product knowledge of Turbo Compressors and ability to understand and consider technical / commercial requirements
- Strong affinity for the costing / pricing process during the pre-order stage, preferably supported by experience with costing tools
- Strong drive with motivation skills to accomplish tasks with high quality and on time with attention to detail
- Advanced knowledge in Office applications
- Pro-active and hands-on character with economical thinking and a strong will to provide best in class project support and willingness to improve the business every day
- Strong collaborative approach and working with cross functional team to drive part projects to completion
