Our vision in DEKRA is to make Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Advanced Analytics (AA) an essential driver of value creation by 2025. Therefore, we founded the “DEKRA AI Hub” as central institution for the application of AI-based technologies within the DEKRA Group.

We develop AI and Machine Learning (ML) solutions to improve our processes and service portfolio as well as to leverage new business potentials in a wide range of verticals and uses cases. We also work on the development of tools for AI solution testing as key to ensure safety of high-risk products.

Role position:

We are currently looking for a IT Business Analyst to strengthen our Artificial Intelligence Team.

The objective is to drive the digitalization, automation, and tool development strategy for our Digital Product Testing division. This role will play a key part in optimizing processes, increasing efficiency, and standardizing tools across the organization. The ideal candidate will work closely with employees to understand current workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, and coordinate with the development team to implement solutions.

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will entail:

  • Planning and scheduling meetings.
  • Process & Tool Analysis: Assess existing workflows, tools, and technologies used within the division to identify inefficiencies and areas for standardization.
  • Efficiency & Automation: Define opportunities for process automation and AI-driven enhancements to improve productivity and decision-making.
  • Technology Coordination: Collaborate with development, IT, and infrastructure teams to ensure successful implementation of new digital tools and solutions.
  • Change Management & Deployment: Lead the adoption of new technologies by engaging with end-users, gathering feedback, and ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with employees, leadership, and technical teams to align digital initiatives with business needs.
  • Best Practices & Governance: Establish standards and best practices for digital tools, ensuring alignment with IT security, data governance, and infrastructure requirements.

Requirements:

  • Technical Understanding: Basic knowledge of software development, IT infrastructure, and data management.
  • Process Optimization Skills: Experience in identifying inefficiencies and implementing process improvements.
  • AI & Automation Awareness: Familiarity with AI applications and automation technologies to drive efficiency.
  • Strong Communication: Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into digital solutions.
  • Project Coordination: Experience in leading digital transformation projects, ensuring alignment between business goals and technical execution.
  • Change Management: Ability to drive adoption of new tools and processes through structured change management initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Digital Transformation, Process Automation, or IT Strategy roles.
  • Knowledge of enterprise software solutions, workflow automation, and AI applications.
  • Familiarity with IT governance and security standards.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams, including developers, IT, and business users.
