About The Job
Operating within a client-centered approach and as an essential member of the rehabilitation team, you make a substantial contribution to the impact on progression of patient/resident needs and their rehabilitation journey. This position will provide coverage until return of incumbent or August 1, 2025. Shifts times are rotating: 08:00 to 16:00.
Within This Role, a Rehabilitation Assistant
- Is encouraged to work at top of scope.
- Engages patients with regular therapeutic interventions.
- Has a huge impact on progression of patient needs and their rehab journey.
- Is an intrical member of the rehabilitation team.
- Is relied on to be the eyes and ears of the rehab team.
The East Kootenay Regional Hospital (EKRH) is in the East Kootenay health service area and responsible for providing core medical and surgical specialty services to patients throughout its service area.
Located in Cranbrook, between Kimberley and Fernie, EKRH offers services including core physician specialties, 24 emergency and trauma services, Level 3 laboratory, acute and obstetrical care.
