Paralegal – Mass Tort
Job Description
OnderLaw, a nationwide product liability and personal injury law firm based in St. Louis, is looking for a Paralegal to join our Mass Tort team.
Ideal candidate will be responsible for case management and workload of their paralegal team, ordering medical records, assigning projects and ensuring the accuracy of the work produced. Ideal candidate will also be a team player, detail oriented, self-motivated, have the willingness to learn, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Duties Include
- Conduct initial case assessment and investigations
- Assist in drafting and preparing legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence
- Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and accessible
- Communicate with clients as necessary
- Conduct legal research and provide support in case development and time tracking
- Prepare and coordinate discovery, including document production and responses
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- 2-4 years’ experience as a Paralegal with experiencing managing/supervising others
- Paralegal Certificate preferred; equivalent work as a paralegal required
