We are seeking a Deputy Headteacher for Curriculum, Standards, and Outcomes to lead on curriculum development, teaching, and pupil progress, inspiring excellence across all areas of school life.

About The Candidate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead curriculum development to ensure it is broad, balanced, and meets all learners’ needs.
  • Drive high teaching and learning standards, promoting evidence-based practices.
  • Use data to monitor pupil progress, addressing gaps and ensuring no child is left behind.
  • Foster creativity, curiosity, and resilience through an enriched curriculum.
  • Support professional development to enhance teaching quality and leadership capacity.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to deliver whole-school improvement priorities.
  • Monitor the impact of initiatives, reporting progress to governors and stakeholders.

  • Significant experience in curriculum design, teaching, and driving pupil progress.
  • Expertise in using data to identify gaps, set ambitious targets, and monitor impact.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with staff, children, families, and external partners.

  • A commitment to developing confident citizens within our community and beyond.
