Metallurgist

We are looking for a skilled Metallurgist to join our team and oversee the production and quality control of metal alloys and materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of metallurgical processes and properties, as well as experience in developing and implementing innovative solutions to improve product quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement processes to extract, refine, and alloy metals
• Conduct tests and analyze data to ensure product quality meets regulatory and industry standards
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve processes and troubleshoot issues
• Stay current with advancements in metallurgical technology and incorporate best practices into our production processes
• Provide guidance and training to junior metallurgical staff

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in metallurgical engineering, materials science, or related field
• Proven experience in metallurgical research, development, and quality control
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with metallurgical testing and analysis equipment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
