Avid is looking for a Director of Talent & Transformation, who will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Talent within the organization by driving transformative projects that enhance business alignment and operational excellence. Reporting directly to the Vice President of HR, this role offers the unique opportunity to lead enterprise-wide initiatives, including HR Transformation projects, Reporting & Analytics, HRIS (Workday), and Talent Acquisition. You will collaborate across functions, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize HR strategies and deliver meaningful business outcomes.

This role is based remotely in the USA.

What You’ll Do

  • HR Transformation Projects: Serve as co-business owner for cross-functional initiatives aimed at modernizing HRIS, TA & Talent Development processes, systems, and strategies to align with organizational goals.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Oversee the development of dashboards and analytics tools, ensuring HR leadership has actionable insights to inform decision-making.
  • HRIS Management: In partnership with IT, drive the effective use and optimization of Workday, managing system enhancements, data integrity, and integrations with other platforms.
  • Talent Acquisition: Lead a global TA team, collaborating with leaders to refine and execute talent acquisition strategies that attract top-tier talent.
  • Talent Development: Partner with the HR Business Partner team to create and implement effective talent development and management strategies in support of business OKRs, with a focus on creating a culture of accountability and being easy to work with.
  • Strategic Partnership: Serve as a key partner to the VP of HR, providing thought leadership on emerging HR trends like AI and translating them into actionable initiatives.
  • Change Management: Develop and execute change management strategies in alignment with business needs across the HR function.

Who You Are

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles.
  • Strong experience with Workday HRIS, including implementation and optimization.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Strong project management capabilities, including experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP, PMP) are a plus.

US Pay Transparency Range $120,000.00 – $150,000.00
