Job Overview:

We are currently seeking an Assistant Manager to join our Legal department. The Assistant Manager, Legal plays a key role in supporting the legal department by managing critical systems and handling essential administrative functions. This position involves conducting legal research to aid in the preparation of reports, legal advice, and case files. Responsibilities also include drafting and proofreading correspondence and legal documents, as well as meticulously managing and organizing both physical and electronic filing systems. The Assistant Manager provides comprehensive support to the General Counsel and Legal Senior Manager across a range of legal matters and assigned tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Preparing and reviewing contracts, agreements, legal documents, and related correspondence.
  • Legal Systems Management: Managing and maintaining legal systems, including the Contract Management System, and other assigned systems.
  • Legal Counsel and Support: Conducting legal research, providing initial legal advice, supporting the Senior Manager, Legal/General Counsel in stakeholder communication, and providing written and oral legal consultations.
  • Administrative and Policy Support: Performing administrative duties for the Legal Department, assisting in the review and implementation of HQ Policies and local work instructions, and providing legal training.
  • Legal Updates and Compliance: Monitoring legal and regulatory changes and communicating updates to the Legal team and relevant personnel/departments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree and preferably with advance degree in Law.
  • At least 2 years of experience in-house or law firm.
  • Knowledge in automobile is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Vietnamese and English, and MS Office suite.
  • Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
  • Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills and a high level of motivation.
  • Possesses the qualities of a strong team player, including proactiveness, a collaborative spirit, and a creative mindset.
