Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager with experience in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and managing financial controls to support the company’s business objectives.

Your Responsibilities

  • Accounting Oversight: Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reconciliation.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, reports, and analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Budget Management: Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with project financial plans and company goals.
  • Cost Tracking: Monitor and analyze project costs, ensuring accurate recording and reporting in alignment with project budgets.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Internal Controls: Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and maintain financial accuracy.
  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.

What Our Client Is Looking For

  • CPA certification is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 3 years of experience in the construction industry or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proven experience in project cost accounting and financial reporting specific to construction.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and financial analysis.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
