Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master / Agile Coach to lead and mentor multiple Agile teams. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Agile principles, hands-on experience in managing Scrum teams, and strong expertise in JIRA administration, Agile reporting, and Release Management. The candidate should hold an Agile certification from a well-recognized organization (e.g., Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), PMI-ACP, ICAgile Certified Professional, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

Scrum Master Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and coach multiple Scrum teams to deliver high-quality products.
  • Guide teams in Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and other Agile frameworks, ensuring adherence to Agile principles.
  • Remove impediments and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate Scrum events (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives).
  • Ensure Agile best practices are implemented effectively across teams.
  • Work closely with Product Owners and Engineering teams to refine and prioritize the backlog.

Agile Coaching & Transformation

  • Act as an Agile coach, mentoring teams and leadership on Agile adoption and best practices.
  • Drive Agile maturity assessment and continuous improvement initiatives across teams.
  • Conduct Agile workshops and training sessions to upskill team members.
  • Advocate for a culture of collaboration, self-organization, and accountability.
  • Partner with stakeholders to scale Agile methodologies and align with business objectives.

JIRA & Agile Tooling Expertise

  • Deep expertise in JIRA administration, workflows, automation, dashboards, and reporting.
  • Customize JIRA boards, sprint planning, and backlog grooming to optimize team performance.
  • Define and implement JIRA-based Agile metrics, velocity tracking, and performance analytics.
  • Train teams and leadership on JIRA best practices and Agile reporting (burndown charts, cycle time, lead time, etc.).
  • Optimize JIRA Service Management (JSM) and integrations with DevOps tools.

Release & Delivery Management

  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to define and execute release management strategies.
  • Manage release planning, deployment coordination, and release tracking.
  • Establish CI/CD pipelines, version control strategies, and automation integration in Agile workflows.
  • Ensure smooth and predictable releases through continuous delivery best practices.
  • Work closely with DevOps and QA teams to improve release stability and production readiness.

Stakeholder & Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Work with leadership to improve organizational Agile capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Delivery teams for seamless execution.
  • Manage cross-team dependencies and promote Agile best practices across the organization.
  • Track and communicate key Agile metrics to measure team performance and Agile adoption.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: 5+ years as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or similar role managing multiple teams.
  • Agile Certifications (any one or more):
  • Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)
  • SAFe Program Consultant (SPC)
  • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
  • ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP-ACC or equivalent)
  • Scrum Alliance Certified Team Coach (CTC) or Certified Enterprise Coach (CEC)
  • Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, Nexus).
  • Expertise in JIRA administration, dashboards, reporting, and automation.
  • Deep experience in Release Management and CI/CD best practices.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience in Agile coaching, training, and mentoring teams.
  • Experience working with Agile tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence, and Rally.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Agile transformation at the enterprise level.
  • Background in software development, product management, or IT project management.
  • Strong technical understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile engineering best practices.
  • Engage in rollout of Agile frameworks (DA, SAFe or Scrum)
