- Work Location: Western Region Abu Dhabi
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Admin Assistant to join our team at a construction site in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry. This is a full-time position with a 1-year contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- – Provide administrative support to the construction site team, including project managers, engineers, and other staff members
- – Maintain and update project documentation, including contracts, permits, and drawings
- – Prepare and distribute project-related correspondence, such as meeting agendas and minutes
- – Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and site visits
- – Monitor and track project progress and deadlines
- – Assist with procurement activities, including obtaining quotes and processing purchase orders
- – Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
- – Maintain and organize project files and records
- – Prepare and submit expense reports
- – Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers as needed
- – Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the project manager
Qualifications:
- – High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration is a plus
- – Minimum of 2 years of experience as an administrative assistant, preferably in the construction industry
- – Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- – Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- – Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel
- – Good communication and interpersonal skills
- – Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- – Knowledge of procurement processes is an advantage
- – Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
