About The Role

The Field Operations Lead oversees and supervises day-to-day operations in the field to ensure customer visits are completed efficiently, safely, and on schedule. Acting as the primary point of contact between on-site teams and management, this role involves coordinating resources, supervising personnel, and addressing operational challenges.

This position is critical in driving team performance, maintaining compliance with organizational standards, and ensuring the successful execution of field operation initiatives.

What You’ll Do

Field Operation Duties

  • virtual site or customer visits
  • backup for Field Specialists
  • escalation point for Field Specialists
  • implement operational plans and strategies to meet organizational goals
  • control the inventory and enforce the maintenance of equipment, tools, and materials in your region
  • ensure timely, accurate, and complete documentation of field activities and resources; following up promptly when necessary

Team Leadership

  • supervise the day-to-day activities of field teams to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • provide guidance, training, and support to team members to improve performance and resolve issues
  • participate in tracking key performance metrics and data to improve field operations
  • participate in regular team member evaluations

The Field Operations Lead must be able to…

  • maintain open communication and collaboration with other Turf Tank teams
  • ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and legal requirements
  • communicate operational challenges, risks, and bottlenecks proactively
  • coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to align regional operations with business objectives promptly
  • report on operational progress and challenges to senior management

Requirements

  • overnight travel is required up to 80% of the time
  • day travel is required up to 95% of the time
  • possess a valid driver’s license
  • must pass a background/MVR and drug screen before the start date
  • maintain eligibility for Turf Tank’s fleet insurance
  • be able to sit for extended periods of time in a vehicle
  • lift up to 50 lbs
  • climb in and out of a vehicle
  • stand for extended periods of time
  • perform work while squatting, stooping, and bending above shoulder height and below waist level
