Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Research/Oncology nurse to work as part of the Clinical Trials Unit at the Bristol Haematology & Oncology Centre. Working closely with members of the multi-disciplinary team, you will be managing a portfolio of non-complex clinical trials. Recent experience in oncology/haematology is essential as are good communication, and organisational skills. The candidate will have Chemotherapy skills and knowledge or be near to being signed off as competent to deliver chemotherapy agents.

The Research Nurse is expected to support the safe conduct of research in accordance with the regulatory and legal frameworks related to the planning, recruiting and follow-up of clinical research studies.

Working as part of the research team the research nurse will be accountable for the assessment, planning, organisation and on-going care of research participants according to the study protocol.
