We’re seeking an experienced Executive Support Officer to provide high-level administrative support to the Principal Advisor, ensuring the seamless operation of the Office of the CEO and CFO. This role is pivotal in coordinating information flow, managing key relationships, and supporting strategic priorities. The role is being offered until December 2026 with possibility of extension.

Cross River Rail is a new 10.2km rail line including 5.9km of twin tunnels running under the Brisbane River and CBD. It includes the delivery of four new underground stations, two new above-ground stations, accessibility rebuilds for six stations, the construction of three new stations on the Gold Coast, and the introduction of a new world-class ‘ETCS’ signalling system.

About The Role

We’re seeking an experienced Executive Support Officer to provide high-level administrative support to the Principal Advisor, ensuring the seamless operation of the Office of the CEO and CFO. This role is pivotal in coordinating information flow, managing key relationships, and supporting strategic priorities. The role is being offered until December 2026 with possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide executive administrative support, ensuring timely delivery of information and advice.
  • Oversee briefing standards, ensuring accuracy and compliance with protocols.
  • Liaise with the Minister’s office and key stakeholders for meetings, site visits, and events.
  • Maintain knowledge of Delivery Authority legislation, projects, and operations.
  • Build networks across government and private sectors to support executive functions.
  • Review and process financial documents, ensuring policy compliance.
  • Coordinate interstate travel and support event planning for staff and executives.
  • Manage the Executive Office inbox and related administrative processes.
  • Oversee CEO/CFO meeting rooms and guest arrangements.
  • Act as a point of contact during Principal Advisor’s absence, ensuring operational continuity.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

About You

  • Advanced experience in executive support, office management, or similar roles within complex corporate or government settings.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills in executive environments.
  • Proven ability to foster effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent written communication skills for preparing and reviewing executive correspondence.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
