The Role
We’re looking for a skilled Financial Accountant to join our team! In this key role, you’ll maintain accurate financial records, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. You’ll play a vital part in the organisation’s financial management, providing valuable insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making. The Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Prepare and file BAS returns, ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide financial analysis and reports to management, support audits, and collaborate across departments for accurate financial reporting
What We Are Looking For

- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, with strong knowledge of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced analytical skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
