Financial Accountant

We’re looking for a skilled Financial Accountant to join our team! In this key role, you’ll maintain accurate financial records, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. You’ll play a vital part in the organisation’s financial management, providing valuable insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making. The Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate financial records.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Prepare and file BAS returns, ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide financial analysis and reports to management, support audits, and collaborate across departments for accurate financial reporting

What We Are Looking For

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, with strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced analytical skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
