Quality Assurance Developer

About The Role

As a QA Developer at Ambyint, you will report to the Sr. Quality Assurance Lead, focusing on developing and continuously improving artificial lift optimization software.

What you”ll do

• Work independently and within a team to deliver high-quality products to market.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain existing software components to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with the hardware team to interface with and test various hardware platforms, delivering efficient and cost-effective solutions.
• Prioritize open standards and open-source technologies before considering proprietary solutions.
• Analyze User Stories to create effective testing strategies, combining manual, tool-assisted, and automated testing.
• Work closely with developers and stakeholders to test new functionality, review test development, and ensure testable interfaces for new features.
• Design and implement test strategies for web, mobile, API, and hardware components within the Ambyint ecosystem.
• Stay ahead of the curve by exploring new ideas, experimenting with prototypes, and providing fast feedback to drive innovation.
• Work seamlessly in cloud-based environments, embracing cloud-native technologies.
• Utilize SCRUM and Agile methodologies to drive execution and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in UI test automation using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent.
• Strong expertise in API automation, leveraging tools like Postman, Newman, or equivalent frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate with APIs, databases, and event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Node.js and/or Python.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and consistently exceeds performance expectations.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Extensive understanding of agile software development concepts and processes
• Must be proactive, demonstrate initiative, and be a logical thinker.
• A team player with a proven ability to work in collaborative environments.
