Head of Financial Controller

Your day-to-day:

• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with accounting standards IFRS while leading the yearly audit process
• Assist with monthly closing procedures
• Oversee and manage the financial reporting framework
• Identify and mitigate financial risks through supporting policies and procedures
• Work closely with accounting and reporting teams – providing feedback and/or looking for continuous improvements
• Build, manage, and support the financial controlling team to ensure high performance and alignment with company goals
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the finance team

Your skills & experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
• 4+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with a focus on IFRS reporting, consolidation and audit workflow
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (e.g., PowerBI, ERPs)
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and experience applying these standards in complex accounting situations
• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders
• Excellent written and spoken English

Nice to have:

• ACCA or equivalent certification (or in progress) would be a plus
• Experience in a SaaS or technology company and/or BIG4 firm would be an advantage
• Knowledge of SQL or experience with big-data analytics tools would also be an advantage

Salary:

• Gross salary: 5330 – 6500 EUR/month. Keep in mind that we are open to discussing a different salary based on your skills and experience
