UI/UX Designer

As a UX Designer, you will join the UX/UI team and play a key role in building visualization and monitoring tools for NextSilicon’s novel accelerated compute platform.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of visual and interaction design experience
• Strong knowledge of visual and technical accessibility and how it affects your designs
• Expertise in modern design suites such as Figma or Sketch
• Expertise in designing complex applications for in-depth data analysis and complex decision-making
• Demonstrated ability to create and maintain a system of UI resources for designers and engineers
• Stay current with best practices in typography, color theory, iconography and data visualization
• Proven ability to rapidly iterate from low-fidelity sketches to high-fidelity mockups, even under tight deadlines.
• User-centered designer with a pragmatic and systematic approach to simplifying complex concepts into intuitive and engaging experiences
• Have examples of high-quality, diverse, dazzling work that demonstrate the above
• Fluent English
• (Coding experience—an advantage
• Experience with data visualization—an advantage
• Knowledge of data science and machine learning—an advantage

Responsibilities:

• Own the product’s UX and visual design, from concept to delivery
• Design intuitive and compelling data visualizations that effectively communicate complex technical information
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on wireframes and mockups, delivering pixel-perfect, annotated high-fidelity designs
• Develop and maintain a library of reusable UI patterns and interaction guidelines to enhance user experience and streamline the design-to-development process
• Partner with product managers to ensure designs are user-centered, efficient, and technically feasible. Provide design feedback and guidance to engineers throughout the process on visual design and interaction execution
