Job Description
The study will explore adult social relationships and experiences across family, school, neighbourhood and peer contexts to understand how experiences in adolescence and young adulthood are linked to outcomes later in life, including crime in adulthood. The study will also apply findings from all three Phases of PADS+ to developing guidance for crime prevention policy and practice.
As a Research Assistant on this study, you will play a key part in the data collection, work collaboratively with the research team to continually ensure high data quality consistent with previous and supportive of future data collection, and assist with the preparation of data and findings for publication.
Applicants should hold a good first degree and ideally have a postgraduate qualification (or be graduating soon) in a relevant subject such as criminology, psychology, sociology or another social science subject. To excel in this position, you will need experience of conducting structured interviews or survey research and working with quantitative data.
