Financial Controller

As we embark on a journey of growth and expansion, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Financial Controller to join our team and contribute to our success. This role will be reporting to the Finance team (US) responsible for Group-level accounting and financial reporting.

What You Will Do

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and trial balances.
• Manage Quarterly MAS Filings and other relevant submissions
• Ensure adherence to all relevant accounting standards and practices.
• Assist in Group accounting activities including setting up of financial processes/controls, forecasting, reporting, reconciliation and settlement.
• Provide daily operational support internally to the finance team and other stakeholders
• Treasury operations including FX and account opening
• Liaise with auditors, bankers, and government affiliated entities as required
• Work with cross-functional teams to streamline processes to facilitate solving issues accurately and efficiently
• Manage tax compliance including GST and corporate tax filings

Who You Are

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting and/or finance
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting
• Good knowledge of local accounting GAAP/Singapore Financial Reporting Standards particularly for companies in the financial services space
• Experience with the Quickbooks software would be an advantage
• Experience with a MAS Capital Market Services Licensed entity would be preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and engagement skills to collaborate effectively and respectfully with stakeholders and peers
• Be highly motivated, intellectually curious and an independent thinker who is able to articulate ideas and communicates well verbally and in writing
• Based in Singapore and have a work authorization
