The Business Intelligence Team is looking to recruit talented and enthusiastic individuals to work in our team.

About The Team

The team works with every department in the City of York Council to ensure statutory data returns are submitted in a timely and accurate manner. The team is also responsible for advising colleagues on the best way to interpret and use data.

About The Role

  • Support the collection, collation and submission of a range of thematic datasets in order to meet a number of statutory government returns.
  • Support and develop the production of regular performance data, informing the council plan and services.
  • Support services in the ongoing review of their approach to performance management.
  • Create service reports for operational and strategic use.
  • Knowledge and experience of working with data connected to education and Special Educational Needs is desirable.

The post holder will be working in a fast-paced team that deals with a range of information linked to residents of York, children, vulnerable adults and economic growth.

Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team.
