Are you passionate about distribution and sales? Are influencing and negotiating your top skills? If you’ve had previous experience with technical sales or industrial solutions selling, knowledge about Fluid Handling or Heat transfer products, and you have around 4 years professional experience we are looking for you!
Responsible for managing, developing and increasing opportunities in territories and markets for Food&Water Division in Central America and the Caribbean Islands, through the definition of an adequate channel partners network for our growing targets (including distributors, authorized service partners and other selling partners).
- Formulate and implement the sales plan for territories, channel partners, assigned products and services.
- Prospect new partners and maintain a possible partners network.
- Update and implement business channels agreements for appointed distributors and service partners, together with his manager.
- Analyze and understand market insights, the buying behaviour and the function of Channel Partners way to the markets in order to support the channel to grow the sales.
- Identify key factors and patterns through structured distributor opportunities review sessions in order to grow sales at each channel and to motive the channel to prioritize Alfa Laval products.
- Be active in the market and focus on making visits, and train channels and make sure they have the right and relevant tools to achieve sales targets.
- Use the CRM tool and other tools in a consistent and qualitative way, to support the sales process and take decisions
Profile: Engineering degree, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Process Engineer.
Previous roles: If you’ve had experience in product management or sales positions, you’ll have the profile we are looking for.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Ideally commercial experience in distributor management.
- Knowledge of sales competencies (value selling, negotiation skills, sales planning).
- Market and product knowledge (Preferably similar to Alfa Laval product portfolio).
- Experience with technical sales.
- Experience building sales plans.
- Excellent relationship building abilities.
- Data driven excellent analysis capabilities for decision making.
- Intermediate/Advanced English language proficiency.
Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales or commercial roles, ideally in technical or industry sales. Distribution management experience preferred.
Additional Requirements: Availability to travel 25% of the time.
