Job Description
We are seeking a results-driven Senior Engineering Manager to lead and elevate our software development teams. Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple engineering pods, ensuring alignment with business objectives and efficient execution of projects.
- Drive measurable improvements in team efficiency, velocity, and overall performance.
- Enhance the quality, scalability, and reliability of our SaaS platform on AWS.
- Lead by example, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and high performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to define and execute roadmap plans.
- Establish and track key engineering metrics to monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Oversee and prioritize bug fixes, ensuring platform stability and high performance.
- Mentor and coach team members, setting clear career growth objectives and fostering professional development.
- Encourage a “driver mindset” within teams, promoting initiative, responsibility, and continuous improvement.
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, ensuring transparency and alignment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience in engineering management, leading multiple teams or pods.
- Demonstrated success in driving engineering efficiency, velocity, and SaaS platform quality on AWS.
- Strong ability to set high expectations and implement a structured accountability system.
- Expertise in roadmap planning, execution, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Hands-on experience using metrics and KPIs to track progress, identify risks, and make data-driven decisions.
- Deep understanding of software engineering best practices, CI/CD, and modern development methodologies.
- Strong prioritization skills with a focus on ensuring platform performance and stability.
- Exceptional leadership, mentorship, and communication skills.
- Passion for both strategic thinking and tactical execution in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work smart and hard to transform our platform, enhance user experience, and support business growth.
