Amazon Ads is seeking an Account Executive to join our video-focused SMB team. This is an exciting time to join a new team in a role with broad scope and the potential to make real impact. This role will be focused on driving net-new business with a prospecting mindset.

Key job responsibilities

  • Be a true hunter, hungry to uncover opportunity and connect it with a value adding solution.
  • Generate a pipeline and influences buying decisions to drive revenue from new advertisers.
  • Establish credible relationships with ad agencies and advertiser decision makers.
  • Hold sales calls on existing and prospective clients, delivering superior customer service.
  • Prepare and deliver customized sales presentations to clients.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of sales experience
  • Experience with online productivity tools such as Office 365, Salesforce or similar software
  • 1+ years of selling advertising, advertising-like services, SaaS or tech sales experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets
  • Experience in the advertising, media or agency landscape, and proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals via new and existing business

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $55,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $119,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. This position is eligible for variable pay via a sales compensation plan. These plans pay according to achievement level against sales targets and/or business objectives. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
