Overview & Responsibilities:

The Revenue Cycle Analyst will handle various reporting, and cash application functions for CBS Television Distribution and Paramount Pictures International Limited (PPIL). Daily cash application in TVR and Prism will be required for all accounts assigned to the Analyst.

The position reports to the Manager, Cash Application in Los Angeles.

The work will be a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Run daily bank reports for incoming cash for the domestic & international accounts
  • Maintain and update daily the Access Database for the cash log
  • Process syndication cash receipts for domestic and international clients in TVR and PRISM system
  • Process incoming cash for Domestic First Run in TREC system
  • Process cash adjustments upon request from the collections team
  • Record incoming cash receipts in production & miscellaneous lockboxes via journal entry
  • Prepare manual invoices upon request for domestic and international clients
  • Record Home Entertainment cash receipts to proper product via journal entry
  • Prepare monthly WHT Forecast for Actuals
  • Notify various groups of incoming cash pertaining to their areas
  • Collaborate with collections to resolve payment issues

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work closely with people at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in MS Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Ability to work flexible work hours
  • Intellectual curiosity and professional commitment to excellence
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze complex data

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Entertainment and Media industry is preferred but not required
  • Prior SAP experience is preferred but not required
  • Prior collections or cash application experience is preferred but not required

Additional Information

Hiring Salary Range: $50,000.00 – 65,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
