WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We are looking for a Franchise Business Consultant to join our Round Table Pizza team! The Franchise Business Consultant is responsible for providing operational support and consulting to ensure brand standards are being followed and work cross-functionally to ensure growth plans are in place to onboard new franchisees and keep existing franchisees on schedule to complete their reimage and growth targets. To ensure success the FBC will understand the business operation and decision-making process with a keen interest in producing targeted and tangible results by following a defined operating system. This position reports to the Vice President of Operations, Round Table Pizza.
Job Responsibilities And Overview
- Ensure that franchisees/operations teams are following company brand standards. Complete OERs twice a year on every restaurant and review improvement plan during each visit.
- Work cross-functionally during promo rollouts to ensure system readiness to drive sales and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Support annual P&L collection and schedule annual business reviews with each franchisee identifying strengths and areas of opportunity to improve performance.
- Drive new store growth through expandable franchisees and mitigate potential closures by identifying strong internal franchisees for the transfer process.
- Support and provide feedback to operational testing and other related company initiatives pertaining to marketing, technology, and operational programs.
- Providing opening assistance for all new franchisees and transfers when a new owner is involved.
- Work with franchisees to create a LSM Plan for each store to improve overall sales and profits.
- Ensure understanding of all administrative responsibilities get completed in a timely manner.
- Support a continuous training pipeline across entire area of responsibility.
Preferred Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred in business or related field. Minimum of 7 years of progressive supervisory franchise management or district level multi-unit operations experience.
- Strong working knowledge of P&L statements, inventory and cash control, customer service procedures, and QA/Food safety standards.
- Proficient understanding of relevant business software, MS Office Suite, and supporting hardware.
- ServSafe Certified (if applicable)
- Up to 75% travel, with a valid credit card and reliable transportation is required.
- Candidates should reside within the East Bay or South Bay area
