About The Role

The HR Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation’s workforce strategy, ensuring that HR policies, processes, and culture align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Overseeing all aspects of HR operations, including contract management, leave administration, and payroll coordination.
  • Ensuring compliance with UK employment laws, GDPR regulations, and CQC requirements.
  • Managing employee relations, including grievances, performance management, and disciplinary matters.
  • Identifying and implementing learning and development initiatives to support staff progression and retention.
  • Driving employee engagement strategies to enhance workplace morale and staff well-being.
  • Providing HR insights and workforce analytics to senior leadership, supporting strategic decision-making.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a senior HR role, preferably within the healthcare, social care, or a regulated sector. They will have a deep understanding of UK employment law, HR best practices, and employee relations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to influence and build trusted relationships at all levels.

Essential Requirements

  • Significant experience as an HR Manager or in a senior HR leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK employment law, HR policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive employee relations issues with discretion.

Desirable Requirements

  • CIPD Level 5 or higher qualification.
  • Experience in a CQC-regulated environment.
  • Familiarity with HR software and data reporting tools.
