Job Description

Leading the financial planning and analysis function across the Daisy Group, a £350m turnover, £100m EBITDA, B2B Private Equity backed telecoms and IT business, with ambitious M&A targets to consolidate a fragmented market and achieve over £250m EBITDA. Ensuring robust financial forecasting and strategic insights, this role will be critical in guiding the company’s financial strategy and supporting executive decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of financial management within a fast-moving environment.

Location: London

Salary: £100,000 – £125,000 DoE

Benefits: Car Allowance and Private Health Care

Working Hours: Monday to Friday between 8:30 – 17:30 (37.5 hours)

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Providing analysis of and commentary on business performance including reporting to the Group Board.
  • Partner with Daisy business leaders to provide financial insights and recommendations that drive profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Supporting the Chairman, CEO and CFO in strategic planning efforts, including mergers and acquisitions, capital investments, and business development initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making and performance analysis including cash flow forecasting.
  • Compiling M&A plans including resultant synergies and financing requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or MBA / relevant professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CA, CIMA).
  • Ability to articulate financial concepts to a wide and diverse group of stakeholders such as internal management and investors.
  • Extensive experience in a financial planning and analysis ideally within a private equityor advisory business.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong communication skills – both written and oral.
  • Confidence to work with senior executives in a cooperative but challenging and independent manner.
  • A team player with a hands-on approach to work.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, uncertainty and to work in a dynamic environment.

Additional Information

This role reports into the Chief Financial Officer, although will be expected to have strong relationships across the Group Board of Directors.
