Position Overview

The Account Director, New Business will play a supportive role in assisting the New Business team with various supporting/prep tasks, client facing meetings and email communication. This role is ideal for a candidate who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn more about sales and account management. The Account Dir, New Business will help ensure smooth communication within the sales team and assist in the preparation of sales materials and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

Support New Business Team

  • Provide comprehensive support to the New Business team during all stages of the sales process, from initial outreach to closing deals.
  • Assist in preparing and customizing sales decks, ensuring they are tailored to the client’s needs and effectively communicating our value proposition.
  • Help track and manage client proposals and projects in Insightly/ODEE CRMs, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
  • Monitor and maintain pipeline reports, tracking key metrics such as conversion rates and deal progress.

Media Planning and Coordination

  • Assist with media planning activities, supporting the development of media strategies for potential clients.
  • Work closely with the Media and Client Success team to align media plans with client objectives and ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Gather data and prepare reports to support media buying decisions.

Liaison Role

  • Act as a point of contact between the Client Success and Media teams, ensuring alignment in new business efforts.
  • Ensure smooth coordination of internal processes, helping to streamline interactions between the sales and media teams.

Client-Facing Responsibilities

  • Participate in client meetings and pitches as needed, providing support to the sales team.
  • Maintain a professional and confident demeanor in all client interactions, ensuring that the company’s image is represented effectively.
  • Assist in gathering client feedback and ensuring that their needs are communicated to the appropriate teams.

Qualifications:

  • 4 – Year degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales support, media buying, and planning.
  • Proficiency in creating and managing sales decks.
  • Proficiency Microsoft Excel, Google Slides, Google Sheets.
  • Understanding of sales processes and pipeline management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to shift hours as projects and workload dictates.
