Job Description
Summary
The Macomb Group, a recognized leading distributor in the Midwest for Pipe, Valve, and Fittings. We are looking for a full-time class B driver at our Clarksville, Tennessee location. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, self-driven individual to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Local deliveries
- Transport materials to and from specified destinations
- Prepares receipts for load pickup
- Maintenance of truck logs and proof of delivery
- Loading and unloading truck materials when needed
- Possible warehouse duties after runs are completed
Requirements
- MUST BE ABLE to drive a manual transmission with airbrakes
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Class B License
- DOT Certification
- Be able to walk, sit, stand, climb, kneel, or crawl occasionally
- Be able to frequently lift or move up to 25lbs
- Be able to strap and load materials onto truck bed
- Knowledge of PVF is a plus
Work Setting
Clarksville, Tennessee
Monday – Friday, day shift
OT on some Saturdays, 8 AM – 12 PM
No nights, holidays, or Sundays
