Research Risk Analyst
MitKat is looking to hire a Research Risk Analyst for its Data Centre Client. This position will be an embedded position.
Role
- The primary responsibility of the Research Risk Analyst is to monitor and assess external threats that could impact the company; using a variety of sources and to provide timely, accurate and actionable intelligence that allows the Clients Administration, Security and Safety team to mitigate perceived risks.
- The incumbent will:
- Determine global/regional intelligence collection requirements and integrate all stakeholders and documentation in the company’s information management system.
- Collect, analyze, and disseminate threat intelligence to Corporate Security Senior regional management, Security Heads, and other key stakeholders.
- Provide location risk assessments – verbal briefings, visual presentations, and written reports to Corporate Security
- Collaborate with the company’s other Corporate Security members on transnational threat collection and analysis.
- Gather, analyze, and process information to provide decision making intelligence to Regional Security & Intelligence Manager.
- Assess all data collated and prepare reports highlighting findings which include probability and impact of threat identified.
- Use initiative to rapidly assess events and incidents within the company’s areas of interest for the potential to impact business travelers and communicate accordingly.
Basic Requirements & Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in geo-politics, political science, international relations, intelligence analysis, regional studies, or a related discipline
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint – ability to present data in graphical format and concise reports.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent research, analytical, verbal, written and presentation skills.
- 1-2 years’ experience in Intelligence Analysis
