The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Legal Support Secretary or Administrator to join our Private Client and Residential Property teams in our Diss office.

About The Team

Our Diss office is a fast paced but friendly team that mostly specialises in Private Client and Residential Conveyancing work. The office is in central Diss, close to the high street and local attractions. The Diss team are highly regarded, having gained numerous positive reviews from clients for their comprehensive, professional and very personal service.

The Role

The role of Legal Support Secretary / Administrator will provide administrative and secretarial support to the Private Client and Residential teams.

This role will see the successful candidate undertaking the following tasks:

  • Providing quotes.
  • Client Onboarding.
  • Registrations.
  • File Closing.
  • Legal support administration (typing, transcribing) for fee-earners.
  • Regular Reception cover for staff absences and holidays.
  • Liaising with their respective fee earners to establish priority of work.
  • To undertake any other reasonable duties or activities which may be allocated with the remit of an administrator or secretary in the legal profession.

The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple tasks and have a good attention to detail. They should be a team-player who can quickly gain the trust of their team and clients as well as our professional colleagues in these demanding areas of legal work. We are looking for candidates who have the ability to build a strong rapport with their team and our clients through excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Candidates should be able to demonstrate general skills in:

  • Time management, IT, typing (including audio typing).

  • Previous experience in a legal setting or law firm would be advantageous.
