As part of our Shared Services group, comprised of Finance, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Commercial, Legal and Facilities, we support the business achieve their goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. We ensure delivery of services through the skills of our people, methodologies, and systems.
The role is responsible for the preparation of month end journals and treasury tasks. Duties will include journalling prepayments, accruals, fixed assets and preparing expense analysis reports. Preparing quarter-end/ year-end schedules, bank reconciliations, cash forecasts and contribute year-end audit and statutory reporting requirements.
Hatch uses the SAP enterprise global software to record the essential operations of projects, finance and human resources, so prior knowledge in SAP will be favourable. The role will give the candidate an opportunity for on the job training and growth within a vibrant team.
Key Responsibilities Of This Role Include
- Journalling prepayments, accruals & fixed assets
- Month-end/ quarter-end expense analysis
- Treasury accounting and forecasting
- General ledger reconciliations
- Preparation of month end and year-end reporting schedules
- Audit requirements
- Contribute to improvement processes
- Ad-hoc reporting and analysis
Key Required Skills, Experience And Attributes
- Accounting degree
- Ability to problem solve and seek improvements
- SAP experience favourable
- An attitude to take responsibility, work within a team and constantly improve
- Superior oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Vibrant and fun personality
