Our team in Corporate Group is looking for a Junior Business Analyst to join their IT Applications team. You will report to the Manager of IT Applications and will have a hybrid work schedule in East Aurora, NY. In this role, you will analyze business processes, identify requirements, and support the development and implementation of IT applications, with a particular focus on the Moog global payroll and timekeeping system.
To be considered for the Junior Business Analyst role, here’s what you’ll typically need to bring with you:
- Typically, a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A combination of experience and education, or equivalent professional experience, may also be considered.
- Basic understanding of IT applications, SDLC, and proficiency in Excel with basic MSSQL knowledge.
- Experience with business analysis tools and methodologies, project management software (Azure Dev Ops), Agile methodologies, and UKG platforms (preferably Autotime) would be beneficial.
As a Junior Business Analyst, You Will
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
- Analyze business processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Support the development and implementation of IT applications.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure applications meet business needs.
- Create and maintain documentation, including requirements, process flows, and user guides.
- Provide support and training to end-users on new applications.
- Assist in project management tasks, including tracking progress and reporting on project status.
- Manage tasks independently while collaborating seamlessly within a team, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex issues and communicate solutions effectively with stakeholders.

Salary Range Transparency
Buffalo, NY $28.84–$38.46 Hourly

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog’s total compensation package for employees.
