What You Will Do
The Assistant Manager-Supply Planning is responsible for supporting the Baddi Planning Team in ensuring efficient inventory management, demand fulfillment, and supply optimization. This role will be responsible for executing supply planning processes, coordinating with manufacturing, finance, quality internal teams and external suppliers, and maintaining accurate data to enable smooth operations
Key Responsibilities
- Supply planning for Johnson’s Baby, Clean & Clear brands
- Portfolio includes 175+ SKUs being sourced from 1 In-house and 6 External Manufacturing plants (P2P & LL sites) in India, translating to a yearly NTS of $MM160
- Responsible for creation & maintaining Shift/Day/Week Production scheduling for 175+ SKUs as per Monthly S&OP
- Responsible for developing and maintaining detailed production schedules to ensure efficient manufacturing operations. This role requires close collaboration with production teams, supply planners, and external manufacturing (EM) sites to ensure schedule adherence, timely material availability, and seamless execution of production plans
- Responsible for Material Requirement Planning for >600 RPMs ensuring production Schedule Attainment & minimizing SLOB
- Ensuring >97% Product Availability at CFAs, >97% OTIF (Customer Service) & >95% Schedule Attainment across SKUs
- Well versed with SAP, APO ECC production planning & Inventory management includes Local, Import & Export SKUs
- Leading complex business transformation projects, overseeing tasks from planning stages to completion
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in production scheduling, supply planning, inventory management or manufacturing operations
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact effectively with production teams, supply chain partners, and external manufacturers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make quick, data-driven decisions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or retail industries
- Proficiency in SAP, APO ECC production planning modules
